Kris Jenner took to Instagram Thursday morning to wish her only son, Rob Kardashian, a happy birthday. The baby of the Kardashian family turned 29 on March 17, and Kris was the first member of the family reality TV family to post a birthday message for him on social media.
Kardashian has a lot to be happy about this year. The formerly reclusive "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star worked hard to shed about 50 pounds since his health scare last December, in which he was diagnosed with diabetes. He seems to have found motivation to improve his health since he started dating 27-year-old video model Blac Chyna. Even though their relationship seemed to cause tension early on in the Kardashian/Jenner family-since Chyna's rapper ex-fiancé Tyga is currently dating Kardashian's younger sister Kylie Jenner, Kardashian's family seems to have moved on.
Kris took to social media to let the world know how proud she is of her son. She posted a black and white throwback photo of her only son looking super dapper in a black tuxedo with a white collared, button-down shirt and a black bowtie. In the shot, he gazed off away from the camera lens and adjusted his sleeve cuff.
"Happy Birthday Rob!! God blessed me beyond measure the day you were born. You are the most amazing man who is kind, funny, smart and you have the best heart. You are beautiful inside and out and have brought so much joy into my life. Thank you for being the best son a Mom could ever dream of...I love you soooo much @robkardashian and I'm so proud of you. Mommy #blessed #love #happybirthdayrob," Kris, 60, wrote in the caption on Instagram.
The mom of six has always been supportive of her son. She helped him start his own designer sock company Arthur George four years ago and occasionally promotes the line on her own social media accounts. She even helped him purchase his own home, a $2 million home in Calabasas, where most of the Kardashian/Jenner family resides.
Kardashian's 18-year-old sister Kylie has moved past his relationship with her boyfriend's ex, too. The siblings were spotted hanging out together earlier this week, the first time that they were photographed together since Kardashian and Chyna started dating.
