‘The Walking Dead’ Preview: Episode 14 ‘Twice As Far’

AMC's "The Walking Dead" is built upon brooding. Think about it, every character is always brooding. Everyone is always lamenting what he or she should have done or regretting what he or she did do. No one is ever happy.

I'm not complaining; that's what you should expect from a group of survivors in the unpleasant zombie apocalypse. They spend all day killing, so they probably aren't smiling very often. I'm just pointing out that everyone is always so serious.

Which is why - surprise, surprise - Daryl is feeling down and out in this preview for "The Walking Dead" episode 614, "Twice as Far," set to air this Sunday. Check it out below.

Daryl regrets not killing certain individuals (Dwight and his crew from the first half of season six, who will be making another appearance this Sunday) while getting ominous looks from Morgan and Carol. Come to think of it, ominous looks are just as prevalent as brooding in this show.

But there's no way either of them are upset with Daryl. Both characters have some red in their ledger (especially Carol, which she felt bad about in last week's episode) and Daryl's willingness to trust in that situation was understandable, if mistaken.

Also in the promo, guns and walkers. It is the zombie apocalypse, remember?

Here's another little sneak peek for this week's episode.

Daryl is checking out his recently fixed motorcycle, easily the most impractical vehicle for "The Walking Dead," but the one that makes Daryl look like the biggest badass. Clearly, that's a good trade off. He also shares a smoke and a few words with Carol, which can always leave you questioning your motives and decisions.

Here's AMC's officially synopsis for the episode:

"Two different groups leave Alexandria on supply runs. While both are concerned with the future of the community, immediate danger will derail them."

Here's a link to all of the juicy spoilers for this week's episode if you want to know what is going to happen. You know, if you're into that sort of thing.

"The Walking Dead" airs Sundays on AMC at 9 pm ET.
