Courteney Cox has a new man in her life, as Life & Style reports, the mystery man she brought to Jennifer Aniston's Bel Air holiday party on Sunday revealed to be Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid.
"They arrived around 7 p.m. and left together about three hours later," a source told Life & Style. "She drove and he sat in the passenger seat."
The 49-year-old "Cougartown" star "definitely looked like she was on a date," as a second source revealed, adding that the two "were holding hands during the party."
McDaid, who is originally from Northern Island, moved to L.A. to work on Ed Sheeran's new album, which they completed on Dec. 4. Sheeran is a friend of both Anniston and Cox, having spent Thanksgiving with the two former "Friends" stars, and Radar Online speculates that he may have played matchmaker for Cox. The 37-year-old Snow Patrol musician is also close friends with One Direction's Harry Styles, who recently tweeted his fans encouraging them to vote for Cox in the 2013 People's Choice Awards.
Cox was last linked to her "Cougartown" co-star Brian Van Holt, whom she dated for over a year. During a drunken call to Howard Stern's radio show back in October, however, her ex-husband David Arquette revealed that the two had called it quits. Cox and Arquette divorced after 13 years of marriage, and share a nine-year-old daughter together, Coco.
