Remember "All That," the sketch comedy show that aired on Nickelodeon 20 years ago? It was like the "Saturday Night Live" for kids. Well, the cast of the popular series will be reuniting soon.
TeenNick will welcome back Danny Tamberelli, Kel Mitchell, Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg and Kenan Thompson in April for a special celebrating the hit show. This may very well be a dream come true for every 90's kid out there.
The special will be held on the network's nightly programming block, The Splat, where content is aimed at kids and full-grown 90's kids attempting to recapture their youth. Classics such as "Kenan & Kel," "Rocko's Modern Life," "Hey Arnold!" and "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" are kept on a regular rotation there.
"All That" lasted an impressive 11 seasons on TeenNick from 1994-2005 and served as a launching pad for several performers who went on to headline in their own spin-off series. In addition to "Kenan & Kel," the sketch comedy act gave way to Amanda Bynes' "Amanda Show," "The Nick Cannon Show," and Jamie Lyn Spears' "Zoey 101."
There are no specific details on what fans can expect on the "All That" reunion special, but key cast members/familiar faces did release a teaser video you can see below.
During a recent episode of "Saturday Night Live," Thompson joked that he's been with "SNL" for "13 damn years and people still ask me twice a week, 'Where's Kel?'" Clearly, the comedy duo made a lasting impression on fans.
It is unknown if only those in the teaser video will be returning for the special or if other popular cast members such as Cannon, Christy Knowings, Kevin Kopelow or Lisa Foiles will also be involved.
We'll keep you posted on any further developments.
