When it comes to main characters on "The Originals" the girls definitely outnumber the boys. (Just so you don't have to count I've prepared the list below)
The girls -- Rebekah (Claire Holt), Cami (Leah Pipers), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), Davina (Danielle Campbell), Sophie (Danielle Pineda)
The boys -- Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Klaus (Joseph Morgan),
According to EOnline, when we return to New Orleans in 2014, we're going to get an episode that features the ladies of "The Originals".
We know of at least one lady who is going to shine in next week's episode - Davina. According to the preview of the midseason premiere, which you can see below, the young witch is playing no games. At the end of the midseason finale we saw her appear at Cami's door and begin to remove Klaus' compulsion. (As an aside, if Davina's magic works as it did on Josh, it will be interesting to see how Klaus reacts when he finds out Cami is no longer compelled. On the one hand he may be really upset because he wants her to be safe and away from all of the vampire/werewolf issues. Also when her compulsion is gone she'll be really upset with him. On the other hand there's a part of Klaus that seems to want to let Cami in and tell her everything.)
In the preview it seems Cami and Davina are tag-teaming to put a thorn in Klaus' side. At one point it look as if Davina puts an actual thorn in Klaus' side. (You'll see what I'm talking about when you watch the video.) Are you excited for the ladies to take over on "The Originals"?
Turning our attention to the most powerful female vampire, Rebekah, it appears we're going to find out about her connection to The Garden, according to TVLine.com. Executive Producer Michael Narducci tells the website, we will discover her history with Marcel's prison and how she plans to use it to her advantage.
Narducci also said, according to TVLine.com. his "friends over at 'The Vampire Diaries'" may want Michael Trevino, who plays Tyler, to "make a return."
"It stands to reason, logically, that somehow we're going to address the issue of how does Tyler get out of that garden," Narducci added according to the website.
Klaus and the gang return Jan. 14 on The CW.
