'Conjuring 3' Latest News: New setting, new storyline, new demons

Movie fans clamor for more.

Director James Wan said he already has some ideas on possible story lines for the third Conjuring movie.

In an interview with IGN, the acclaimed director added that they are lucky because the Warrens have investigated hauntings and paranormal activities for decades, so there are a lot of cases that can be considered for a movie.

Conjuring movies were based on real-life investigations of paranormal experts Ed and Lorraine Warren. They worked with the church with a mission to check and prove the authenticity of paranormal cases. Ultimately, the couple helped people who are being distraught by baffling happenings in their homes.

The director also mentioned that since the first two Conjuring movies were both from the 70s, it is just fitting that the next one will be set in the 80s.

The Warrens famously worked on various paranormal cases during the 80s including "The Werewolf of Southend", "The White Lady of Union Cemetery", and "The Demonic Possession of Arne Cheyenne Johnson."

Fans called on the producers to release Conjuring 3 on 2019 or 2020.
