'Avatar 2' Spoilers: Sequel’s release moved to December 2018

Considering the success of the first "Avatar" movie, making it to the highest grossing film of all time, moviegoers are already anticipating for follow-up films, which was reported to be filmed simultaneously and will be released 2018.

Although information remain scarce up to these times, blockbuster director James Cameron made a revelation on the plot.

Cameron bared all those in his interview with Variety. He disclosed that the four-part epic saga will revolve on family, most especially Jake (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri played by Zoe Saldana and their would-be children.

However, Cinemablend is uncertain whether if the two will already have children right at the start of the four-part epic saga or their family will just progressively grow in the entire duration of the "Avatar 2."

It has also been rumored that Stephen Lang will reappear as Col Quaritch. If this is the case for the upcoming sequel, there is a possibility that humans will plan for another attack to finally rule Pandora.

The award winning director even shared some hints on how Cirque de Soleil's Toruk's production will relate to the four-part saga. He informed Variety on the details while also talking about Toruk where he serves as the show's consultant.

He further explained that even if the show doesn't have a direct connection to the sequel, Toruk will lead viewers on where the plot of "Avatar 2" is heading.

"Avatar 2" was originally planned for release in December 2017 but because Star Wars was pushed back on the same date, 20th Century Fox decided to move its release for another year. Speculations suggest that Avatar 2 will be released Christmas of 2018.

As last word from the award winning director himself, Cameron mentioned that the release dates for the sequel is not what matters most but to make sure that the three upcoming sequels will be released simultaneously as assured.

Therefore, it is certain that moviegoers will expect for another blockbuster film, Avatar 2 as it will hit cinemas in December 2018.
