Speculations have triggered after Robert Downey Jr. posted on his social media account a photo of himself together with his friends, Jon Favreau, Russo brothers, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, celebrity chef Roy Choi, and Spider Man: Homecoming actor Tom Holland.
Fans started to wonder if this could be a new project that could lead to the fourth instalment of Iron Man movie franchise. The photo showed that the team are all smiling for the camera and that it was apparently taken from Atlanta.
This is the place where Marvel had capitalized on most of its major movie operations.
So what does this photo really suggest?
As per Parentherald.com, there is a rumor that the new project that Downey is referring to is no other than Iron Man 4. It can be recalled that it was Favreau who directed the two episodes of the movie.
More so, speculation grew stronger as the Russo brothers and Feige can also be seen in the photo. One thing more, Downey Jr had previously mentioned that he feels like doing one more Iron Man movie again.
Nonetheless there are reports that this could just be for another project and not Iron Man 4 since Downey's tweet does not include Iron Man.
Likewise IB Times wrote that the actor is heading back to TV screens under HBO.
Moreover, there are also claims that Robert Downey Jr wanted a bigger pay check for the movie. The actor was once hailed as the highest paid actor by Forbes, thanks to his movie Iron Man. His net worth rocketed to $80 million, which mostly came from his turn as Tony Stark.
However, it is not yet certain if Robert Downey Jr used that pay dispute to officially be off the movie. With the intriguing photo, can moviegoers expect for Iron Man 4 or this is just another movie for Robert Downey Jr? Guess, fans will have to wait for additional updates from the actor himself.
