Even though 23-year-old Jennifer Lawrence may be America's sweetheart, "Fashion Police" co-host recently slammed the actress in an interview with the New York Post's Page Six, saying, "My New Year's resolution is [ensuring] Jennifer Lawrence grows up and realizes how lucky she is and calms down."
Rivers seemed miffed that Lawrence recently dissed shows like "Fashion Police," quoted as saying that they are "are just showing these generations of young people to judge people...and that it's OK to point at people and call them ugly or fat."
In response, Rivers told Page Six: "I love that she's telling everyone how wrong it is to worry about retouching and body image, and meanwhile, she has been touched up more than a choir boy at the Vatican. Look at her posters. She doesn't have a nose, she has two holes. She just has to learn, don't talk if you're doing it."
Despite her dislike of Lawrence's photoshopped appearance, Rivers did admit that Lawrence is "an amazing actress" and even dubbed her "the next Meryl Streep."
Back in November, Rivers took to Twitter to call Lawrence "arrogant," though Lawrence has yet to respond to any of Rivers' comments.
