Apple's iMac 2016 is rumored to arrive with new features and specifications next month.
Various sources are hinting the launch of the new iMac, with a lot of hopes hinted during Apple's launch event held for the iPhone 7 and Watch Series 2 on September 7. Apple iMac's fans were disappointed during the event and now many of them harbor huge expectations for the company's rumored launch of the desktop computer in October 2016, as per the Christian Times.
As per the reports, CEO Tim Cook said that Apple remains committed to the iMac line and added that the company has surprises for fans. As previously reported, iMac is expected to have new Intel's Core Kaby Lake processing chips in place of AMD's Zen chips.
The previous models of Apple iMac were embedded with AMD's Zen chips. The new Intel processor is expected to have higher capabilities in terms of faster and powerful processing, and better desktop graphics will be achieved.
Rumors also abound that gaming on the iMac 2016 will be Apple's best-ever for the Mac OSX. LG Electronics is said to have been asked to supply the California tech giant with monitors that support 5K resolution.
Apple is rumored to make use of the new Radeon RX 400 series from AMD (Advanced Micro Devices), which recently released both the RX 470 and RX 480 on a Polaris 10 architecture. Either of the two graphics cards is expected to be available in iMac 2016. The RX 470 is said to offer premium high definition gaming, while the RX 480 gives immersive Virtual Reality (VR) experience.
It is reported that the new iMac 2016 is equipped with gaming-worthy hardware - with Thunderbolt 3 port as well as USB 3.1 support.
