The women's wrestling revolution continues as Sasha Banks fights for another title opportunity this coming Clash of Champions. Due to the complications of the number one contender-ship match previously on WWE Raw, former NXT Women's Champion Bayley was also added to the match making it a huge triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship.
During Summer Slam, Sasha lot the WWE Women's Championship to Charlotte due to a back injury that took place during the match. Raw took place after that night. Bayley finally made her debut on Raw. Knowing her reputation in NXT and beating Dana Brooke on that night, Bayley was sure to get a title shot after what took place.
After two weeks, Sasha comes back with an announcement. Her injury is not as bad as it turned out to be. Given that, Sasha declares that she is back on the title hunt.
A week after that, a triple threat match took place in order to crown a number one contender for the WWE Women's Championship. It was Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Dana Brooke in a triple threat match. However, this match had a controversial end where both Sasha and Bayley's shoulders were on the mat during the pin. Sasha was declared a winner, but a week after that, the double pin was addressed. According to Bleacher Report WWE Raw general manager Mick Foley decided to make it a triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship.
The line up for this match is outstanding. Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Bayley have been very know to be part as the "Four Horse Women" back when they were still in NXT. There is no doubt that this match will have an extraordinary performance.
Out of all of these three, Sasha Banks is definitely the crowd favourite and Sasha winning back the Women's Championship is a great way to keep the ball rolling for the on going women's revolution. Sasha even claims that she's looking into being a two time Women's Champion this coming Clash of Champion.
According to WhatCulture, Clash of Champions will be airing live on the WWE Network at 8:00pm ET.
