'Vikings' Season 4: Main character dies; Exits show, moves in to big screen acting

Rumors sparked that lead actor Travis Fimmel will die in the 2nd half of "Vikings" Season 4. This is after h shared his plans on moving to big screen acting. Aside from that, History Channel finally released the official plot description of the midseason premiere, while the last episode is provided here for fans who have missed to watch it.

Rumor has it that lead actor Travis Fimmel will officially exit "Vikings" Season 4. According to Master Herald, Fimmel's character, King Ragnar Lothbrok will die in the 2nd half of the season in the hands of his former foe. These speculations have stemmed when the 47-year old Australian actor and former model decided to move to big screen acting.

As for the official plot synopsis of Episode 11, Movie News Guide notes, "Ragnar Lothbrok's reappearance in Kattegat (Kevin McCann) triggers a chain of events no one - except the Seer (John Kavanagh) - could have ever imagined. He unexpectedly arrives home to see what has become of his sons and to handle unfinished business in Wessex with King Ecbert (Linus Roache).

Meanwhile, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) plans a power play in Kattegat and Bjorn Lothbrok (Alexander Ludwig) prepares to fulfill his long-held dream to explore the Mediterranean in a sleek new boat built for him by Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard).
