'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 8 spoilers: Corbin Duggan's entry, Hetty's retirement, proposal for Kensi

"NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 brings with it a new Under Secretary of Defense as Jackson Hurst is all set to enter the action show as Corbin Duggan. There is also an engagement in the offing as a proposal is waiting for Kensi Blye and Martin Deeks.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 will open doors for Jackson Hurst as Corbin Duggan and see the retirement of Hetty Lange simultaneously, reports Movie News Guide. The preview clip of the current season sheds light on this aspect as viewers can see Hurst addressing the team at NCIS Los Angeles after he takes over as the new Under Secretary.

Seeing the new leader, the team is a little baffled and asks Hetty about the change. It is then that she says it is retirement and after saying the word walks away. With that, the clip also comes to an end but it reveals a good deal about how Hetty is feeling after the retirement. She looks a little disturbed but she is prepared for the life that lies ahead of her.

The good thing is that her team might provide her all the support she needs to carry on. Talking of good things, there is an engagement proposal in the offing. Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks are ready for romance in "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8. However, it remains to be seen how it all happens because the new target in Syria might pose problem for the duo.

In the meantime, Hetty might also come back to her team, speculates Carter Matt. According to the news outlet, this can only materialize if the writers of the show are not willing to torment the fans. Also, Ruah might be missing in Season 8 due to her real-life pregnancy.

LL Cool J, who plays Sam Hanna, revealed details about Ruah's role and said that her pregnancy was well-accommodated by the showrunner. Appreciating them, she said that they did a really good job without removing her from the action. In "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8, she will have a very different time from what happened last time in Afghanistan.
