ASUS launched its brand new addition to the Zenfone series in August. The ASUS Zenfone 3 comes with three different variants — the Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra. Two of the company's flagship devices are reportedly available to order in the U.S.
Consumers have widely received the smartphones released by ASUS at the time they were released. Now with its latest Zenfone, the company continues to provide potential buyers a stellar experience with the product, retaining its 'Zen design.'
According to ASUS, the Zenfone 3 has a 5.5 inch, 1920x1080 pixel IPS display, 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 contour on the front and rear of the phone. Positioned on its top is its 3.5 mm headphone jack and on its right side are the volume and power buttons.
The device features a 64-bit Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, running at 2.0Ghz paired with 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 506 graphics processing unit. It has an internal memory of 4GB and has an onboard memory of 64GB which is expandable via micro SD card, according to Techvicity.
It features a 16MP rear camera and 8MP front, with the lenses protected by sapphire. It has a 3000 mAh battery which supports quick charging through Qualcomm's QuickCharge 3.0. According to The Hindu, because the Zenfone 3 has reportedly no heating issues, it is quite perfect for gaming, movie viewing and multi-tasking.
The device also comes with features like excellent fingerprint scanner, proximity sensor, accelerometer and an ambient light sensor.
Availability in the U.S.
Two of the company's flagship devices — the Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra — are confirmed to be already available in the U.S. through Amazon, in unlocked form. Shipping is reportedly starting in approximately two to five weeks, so potential buyers are going to have to give it a little time before they can finally have the product in their hands.
ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe will be available starting at $499, the Zenfone 3 at $249 and the Zenfone 3 Ultra at $479.
