With "The Walking Dead Season 7" all set to be launched in a month's time, AMC has released an official synopsis of the upcoming season. The previous season ended with swinging Lucile to an unidentified victim and survivors of Rick Grimes' group would be under the control of Negan.
"The Walking Dead Season 6" also saw Morgan (played by Lennie James) break his "No kill" rule in an attempt to protect Carol from a savior. Now that he is a deemed killer, the struggle would be an interesting feature in "The Walking Dead Season 7."
As per the official synopsis released by AMC, the characters would re-live the agony which they overcame in the previous seasons. The characters have lived through extremely adverse situations like epidemic, hunger, betrayal etc. which has made them powerful and formidable to stand against adversities.
"The Walking Dead Season 7" would take away all their powers, with the characters finding a safe haven for themselves, Comicbook reports. This is, however, an illusion. The upcoming season would feature groups being broken and oppressed with Negan taking full control (by force) of the bereaved groups, convincing them to be led by his rules and protocols. The season centers around "starting again" with all their presumptions proving incorrect.
On the other hand, Entertainment Weekly came out with a revelation on how Morgan's actions in Season 6 would have repercussions in the current season. Morgan always believed in associations, and wanted to convince Rick to talk with Negan before traversing the offensive route.
As per James' disclosure, Morgan believes in being a part of a community because he finds more deliverance in this route. It is not simply because he doesn't like killing people but he feels that he is good at it, and cannot control himself if he walks that path. Therefore, he is extremely averse to following the route of aggression as he would be following a route which he is extremely frightened about.
Another aspect to watch out for is the future plot of Carol in "The Walking Dead Season 7." She wanted to die, and didn't want Morgan to save her. She craved for ultimate peace - which meant death. The cyclic nature of the synopsis, and the future fate of Morgan and Carol would definitely make Season 7 a treat to the eye.
The Walking Dead, Season 7 airs from Oct. 23 on AMC.
