It's a sick new season. "Scream Queens" Season 2 premiered on Sep. 20 giving fans a perfect long-awaited return of mean girl bitchiness.
On the first season, it was revealed in the finale that Lea Michele's character, "Hester Ulrich", was the killer after all. But her character was lacking in the second season premiere of the comedy-horror TV series, which made the fans think that she is leaving the show.
The former Glee star played a much different character in the Fox TV series. The neck-braced, unsociable orphan, named Hester, was a weird character, as fans described, on her early appearance on the first season.
But during the later episodes of the show, Hester was surely more than the weird gal as she was proving to be crazier than everybody else. One that can complement with the cruelty of the Chanels.
In an interview with Vulture, Michele answered the wondering fans on why her character was blurry on the season premiere.
She stated that on the first episode, the girl cop, Denise Hemphill, has finally figured out the mystery behind the Red Devil, and found out that it was Hester that was responsible for the killings. So she was locked up.
Michele said she was happy to play three different roles of Hester Ulrich - the neck brace Hester, the Chanel Hester, and the final Hester where it revealed her true identity.
This season, the aforementioned source said that Michele will play another version of her character for the upcoming episodes. This blurs the rumors circulating that Michele will leave the show. Hester will definitely come back and fans can't wait to see more of the first season's ultimate villain.
So who is the next villain?
IBT has reported that even though the new killer may not be revealed until the end of the season, there are characters from the show which are suspicious enough to be the suspect. This include Jerry O'Connell's character, Dr. Mike, and Laura Bell Bundy's character, Nurse Thomas.
