Fans of Michael Schumacher from all over the world were pleased upon hearing a real update on the health condition of the iconic racer.
According to Schumacher family lawyer Felix Damn, Michael is still paralyzed and unable to walk or stand even with the aid of medical professionals.
It can be recalled that last December, German magazine Bunte released a report that the racer is already well and can walk again.
However, these claims were later debunked by Michael's long-time manager, Sabine Kehm, telling the reports were definitely untrue and would only deliver false hopes to the people who are involved and to the fans as well. Kehm's statement was later published by New York Daily News.
Because of this, Michael's family filed charges against the publication.
Felix Damn denied the rumors and presented some pieces of information concerning Schumacher's real health condition. He shared to CNN that they already informed the court that Bunte's claims were totally untrue.
Even if Damn was not very open to give updates on the car racer's condition. He told the court, as well as the public, that the seven-time F1 champ cannot walk or perhaps stand even with the assistance of his medical therapists.
But he did not elaborate if Michael is in a paralyzed condition.
Those statements by Damn were the last updates with regard to the condition of the German racer since he endured series of operations that put him in a medically induced coma for about six months.
These operations were due to the critical head injury he sustained from a heart-rending skiing mishap at the French Alps in December 2013.
For those fans and people who have been anticipating for some good news on Michael Schumacher's health condition, this report may be devastating. But with the existence of social media plea #KeepFightingMichael, hope is still around the corner for the German racer.
