Huawei is expected to unveil its new smartphone Honor 6X, a successor of Honor 5X that created a great roar in the tech market with its top end features and nominal price.
The device is better than its predecessor. The expectations from Honor 6X is almost the same when Honor 5X was launched.
The expected specifications of Honor 6X is compared with new upgraded variant of Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship known as Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus, which was unveiled on Tuesday.
Design and display
Honor 6X is expected to have all-metal uni-body design language with all-metal cover on the back and a dual-camera module on the rear similar to Xiaomi's Redmi Pro series. Honor 6X is expected to be included with 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display.
The new Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus are made with metal brushed body. Mi 5s measures 145.6x70.3x8.2mm and weighs 145 grams while Mi 5s Plus measures 154.6x77.7x7.9mm and weighs 168 grams.
Mi 5s is equipped with a pressure sensitive display while Mi 5s Plus has a bigger 5.7-inch full-HD display with 550-nit brightness and 94 percent NTSC color gamut along with a pixel density of 386ppi.
Processor
The Honor 6X is expected to be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor boosted with either 2 Gigabytes or 3 Gigabytes of random access memory and a 32 Gigabytes of internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus are powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with 2.15GHz and 2.35GHz clock speed respectively. The Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s plus is offered in two variants - one with 3 Gigabytes of RAM along with 64 Gigabytes of internal storage, second variant comes with 4 Gigabytes of RAM with 128 Gigabytes of internal storage.
Finger print sensor
Honor 6X has a finger print sensor at the back below camera for sensing features programmed in it.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on its home button and the company claims that the presence of the sensor under the glass will allows the sensor to be safe against damages and the sensor offers the same level of accuracy and speed as regular planar fingerprint sensor. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.
Camera
Bokeh effect is a major feature which holds SLR camera feature which has become a normal feature in all phone having two cameras.
Xiaomi Mi 5s sports a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX378 CMOS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and PDAF and the Mi 5s Plus, sports dual-camera setup at the rear. It also sports a 4-megapixel front-facing camera.
