Will Princess Kate Middleton be required to skip her sister Pippa's wedding? Life & Syle magazine observed Saturday that the royal couple, Kate and Prince William have been directed by Queen Elizabeth II to avoid attending it, said the grapevine.
The queen was furious about Spencer Matthews, Pippa's fiancé James Matthews' brother. The reality star and model brother is said to have posed with nude underwear in public, in order to promote his "new style" website at the London Fashion Week. The entire royal family, which abhors any embarrassing incident, is said to be upset at the rumors.
Kate is reported to be hvery upset and heartbroken after hearing about the queen's decision, and is confident that Pippa "still expects Kate to show up at her wedding."
However, Gossip Cop denied all the rumors and clarified that the queen will not bar Kate from attending her sister's wedding.
Even as Pippa is busy preparing for the wedding, she is reportedly planning to invite "Hello" singer Adele to sing for her. The marriage with James, the hedge-fund manager, might happen next summer.
Earlier, some nasty rumor-mongers have had a ball pointing out that Pippa Middleton is secretly exulting that her sister will be kept out of her wedding. "Kate would upstage her sister," says veteran royals author Judy Wade. "It's a tricky situation for Pippa. She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well? But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention. Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible."
Even if it a melodramatic ride for media commentators, the Middleton sisters would not be able to do without each other's support in the following wedding.
