WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Tuesday annouced that he is planning to release documents relating to Google and the U.S. presidential election over the next 10 weeks.
Assange announced about the plan during the celebration of WikiLeaks tenth anniversary in a video address in Berlin on Tuesday morning.
The organisation will release the information related to the US presidential race ahead of election day on Nov. 8. WikiLeaks plans to release the information on a weekly basis. The documents will contain information about Google, US elections, arms trading, war, oil, and mass surveillance.
Meanwhile, U.S. presidential elections democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is the most popular contender to win the election compared to Republican candidate Donald Trump. The race for the White House is about to enter its final stretch as Election Day 2016 approaches.
Fox News' poll released on Friday had Clinton leading in four-way race 43 percent to 40 percent, with Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson at 8 percent and Green Party nominee Jill Stein at 4 percent.
Clinton leading Trump in a two-way race, 49 percent to 44 percent.
