‘The Amazing Race’ Season 29 News Update: Filming wrapped in Summer; Series Returning this Fall or Spring?

Fans have been waiting with bated breath for the return of 'The Amazing Race,' Season 29 but it looks like the reality show will not air anytime soon. Host Phil Keoghan also does not have any idea as he has said on Twitter that he just hopes the show to return soon.

No announcement has been made by the showrunners and therefore, one does not even know if "The Amazing Race" Season 29 will come back this fall, reports Enstarz. According to the site, fans are anxious as they feel that it might not happen this fall. No good news has arrived about the airing date of the reality show and it has added to the doubts of the viewers.

Notably, fans of "The Amazing Race" were astonished when CBS left off the competition series from its schedule of the upcoming Fall lineup. Since then, the television network has been keeping quiet about the future of Season 29 and thus, many fans are feeling frustrated. They want to know if the delay will last later into the fall or if they will have to wait till spring.

This very confusion prompted one fan to ask Phil Keoghan about the airing date on Twitter and the 28-time host replied that "The Amazing Race" will not return soon enough. Another also posed a similar query and got a similar answer with a slight difference. Keoghan revealed that the shooting for Season 29 has wrapped up and he is excited to share it with fans but he does not know when it will materialize.

For those who do not know, Season 29 "The Amazing Show" was filmed this summer and according to reports on social media, the producers of the show have changed its format in terms of teams. In the new season, the blind dates set-up would be repeated like it happened in Season 26 when all racers were paired off after completing the first task.

It did not work for love connections, but the show benefitted as the teams fared well. It remains to be seen if Season 29 will also get the same response but for that fans will have to wait for long.
