Tyler Hoechlin will be guest starring in the premiere episode of "Supergirl" Season 2 as Clark Kent aka Superman. The sophomore season is also said to be having a crossover episode with "Gotham" Season 3. In line with this, The CW has officially released the plot description of episode 1 titled "The Adventures of Supergirl".
Tyler Hoechlin will officially make a cameo appearance in "Supergirl" Season 2. According to Parent Herald, the 29-year old American actor will play the significant role of Clark Kent also known as Superman.
Clark Kent, born as Zol-El on the doomed planet of Krypton, happens to be Kara's cousin. He will debut when the show premieres on Monday.
Other than that, "Supergirl" is said to have a crossover episode with "Gotham" Season 3 when it premieres. This after the upcoming season released a preview clip showing a family who was almost caught in a near-fatal explosion at the National City Transplant.
In the minute-long video clip, a voice was heard saying "We're moving back to Gotham City."
As for the official plot synopsis of the premiere episode of "Supergirl" Season 2, Den of Geek notes, "When a new threat emerges in National City, Kara Danvers also known as Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) teams up with her cousin, Clark Kent was also known as Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin), to stop it.
Kara is thrilled to have family in town but it leaves Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) feeling a bit left out. Meanwhile, Hank Henshaw (David Harewood) and Supergirl are stunned by the pod that came crashing to Earth.
"Supergirl" Season 2 episode 1 is entitled as "The Adventures of Supergirl". The upcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Monday, October 10, 2016, at 8:00 p.m. first and exclusive on The CW.
