'Chicago Fire' Season 5 Spoilers, Premiere Date: Crossover with 'Chicago Justice' confirmed; Air date delayed to 2017?

Jon Seda leaves "Chicago P.D." and moves into "Chicago Justice" which will have a crossover episode when "Chicago Fire" Season 5 premieres next year. Plus, NBC has released the official plot description of the premiere episode, "The Hose or The Animal".

Jon Seda officially exits "Chicago P.D" to join #OneChicago spin-off's "Chicago Justice". According to TV Guide, the 45-year old American actor will bring his character, Antonio Dawson, in the said show.

In line with this, "Chicago Justice" will make a crossover episode when "Chicago Fire" Season 5 airs in 2017. Antonio Dawson will have a budding love story with Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer).

As for the official plot synopsis of "Chicago Fire" Season 5 premiere episode, Spoilers Guide notes, "Severide and Stella are on the lookout for a very unstable Grant (guest star Guy Burnet), who left Chicago Med without notice.

Now that Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) is responsible for Louie, she questions her dangerous career path as a firefighter. Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) continues his work as Alderman Colin Becks (Armand Schultz) but his relationship with his political consultant, Susan Weller (guest star Lauren Stamile), cools down.

Problems continue for Jimmy Borrelli (Steven R. McQueen), who still blames Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) for the death of his brother. The situation reaches a boiling point.

Meanwhile,Randall 'Mouch' McHolland (Christian Stolte) and Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) start off on a new venture together."

Aside from that, rumors have surfaced that "Chicago Fire" Season 5 has been postponed to air next year. Such rumors started when a media outlet reported that the upcoming installment will not air on its scheduled premiere date which is on Tuesday, October 11, The News Recorder has learned.

"Chicago Fire" Season 5 Episode 1 is entitled as "The Hose or The Animal". The newest season which was scheduled to hit the tv screens this Tuesday has been rumored to be postponed until next year.

As of this moment, the official premiere date of "Chicago Fire" Season 5 has not been confirmed by the series creators and NBC Network.
