If you've been craving new music from Bruce Springsteen, you're in luck, as the rock star is set to premiere new music from his forthcoming album on two consecutive episodes of CBS' "The Good Wife," the New York Daily News reports.
The first new track off of Springsteen's 18th studio album, "High Hopes," will premiere after the Jan. 5 episode, and on the next episode on Jan. 12, three new songs will play. The big episode's writer "has never been happier," as Robert King, show co-creator, told the Daily News, adding, "He's from New Jersey. So this is like if Jesus Christ came down and composed music for his episode."
Plus, on Jan 5., viewers can log on to cbs.com/springsteen to listen to the full-length album for free until Jan. 12.
"What we hope to do in the future is bring [songs by various artists] into the plot itself," King said. "We're looking at one plot where the case revolves around the song itself and the lyrics inform the plot."
As the Jan. 12 episode was shot before the deal was made with Springsteen, the episode has no specific mention of The Boss, and as for whether or not the legal drama will feature his music on future episodes, that decision has been left up in the air for now, as King remained vague on the subject.
"High Hopes" hits stores on Jan. 14.
