The "Rap God" Eminem is trending nowadays with different media outlets reporting that the rapper may soon release a new album. Now it is rumored that Eminem fans may finally get to listen to his new creation in 2017.

The new album dubbed "Root" is rumored to be released in 2017, according to Movie News Guide. Marshall Bruce Matthers III, popularly known as Eminem, released his last album in 2013, and since then, fans have been desperately waiting for him to release his new rap songs.

However, none of this information has been officially confirmed yet. Eminem has not said a word about his new album or if he is recording any new songs, but evidence suggests that Eminem is working in close collaboration with a number of other artists to produce something new.

In fact, Sports Rageous reports that 2016 may be the year Eminem would finally make a comeback. The speculations further fueled after the release of a new song by songwriter and singer Skylar Grey. The song titled "Kill For You" featured Eminem, thus raising speculations that he may be working on other projects as well.

During this three-year gap in which no new song was released, Eminem was helping other artists to get their songs out. In addition, he is rumored to be working with and guiding upcoming rappers, helping them out establish a foothold in the industry.

However, now it seems that the rapper is working with several other famous artists, including Snoop Dogg, Jay Z, Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar to release an album called "Root." The album, which may release before 2017, includes 12 new songs.

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg recently said in an interview that he would love to collaborate with other great artists such as Dr. Dre and Eminem, thus raising speculations that a secret project may be in the pipeline. However, he said that they are yet to decide on the project.
