Preorder a Google Pixel and get a free Daydream View VR headset

A new phone has been released and it's neither from Samsung or Apple. Surprisingly, the new phone, Pixel is developed by Google and bears it as the brand name, welcoming Google to the smartphone wars as they release Pixel for preorder. The company receives a backlash for its price but as a compliment, Google includes a Daydream View VR Headset for free as a promo.

Google has expanded their boundaries from simply being a web search engine and now releasing its first and very own smartphone, joining the race with Apple and Samsung.

The phone is called Pixel by Google. In their promotional video when the phone was released, Google emphasized Pixel's features that are relevantly new among other existing smartphone brands. Technically, Pixel itself is new. As they claim, it charges seven hours of battery life for just 15 minutes, and has the highest rated smartphone camera ever. It is also the first phone with the Google Assistant feature.

The phone by Google has since then gained a very big attention from all over the world. Although there are downsides of the product, these are just about its pricing. Still, this is not enough reason for someone to withdraw their eagerness in having a Pixel phone.

What's with the free Daydream VR Headsets?

Pixel is already set and ready for preorder. And as a bounty bonus for eager consumers, Google throws in a Daydream View VR Headset as a promotion for the first batch of preorders. This might look like a strategy from Google as it receives bad feedbacks about the price. With the help of this promotion, it would surely cover up its cons.

So we come up to the real question: If you get to buy the Pixel or Pixel XL, is it worth your money? For $649, Google Pixel lines up directly to the quality of the current latest models of the two of the biggest phones in the market: the iPhone 7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7.

For real smartphone fans who love watching the smartphone wars between these companies, it is good to see something relatively new in the battle. Plus, Google Pixel definitely has several attractive features that can make any customer buy it in an instant after trying.
