Harrison Ford played the beloved character of Han Solo in the "Star Wars" franchise. In the movie, he was killed by his own son, Kylo Ren. However, may fans are hoping that his character is still alive, even though Han Solo was thrown into an exploding pit after his death.

The first time rumor about Han Solo's return sparked was when a fan noticed Harrison Ford's name in the IMDb casting for "Star Wars: Episode 8." Moreover, it is not exactly impossible to anticipate Han Solo's return despite his imminent death, as shown in the prequel, because Luke Skywalker also came back from the dead in "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back." As a result, new and interesting fan theories started to brew, explaining how Han Solo may still somehow be alive. While it may be too far fetched to assume that Ford's character will return entirely, it could be possible that the filmmakers include a flashback scene, a ghost or even a dream sequence involving Han Solo to the the upcoming film.
