As the preseason games continues, four players are fighting for the last two spots in the Cleveland Cavaliers roster. Preseason games are vital for these four players to prove their worth and earn their spot in the NBA Champs line-up this coming 2016-2017 NBA season.

According to cleveland.com, those four players competing for the final two roster spots at the Cavs line-up are Jordan McRae, Dahntay Jones, DeAndre Liggins, and Toney Douglas.

Those four players still have three preseason games to prove themselves to the coaching staff. Who's going to take that last two roster spots?

Will the Boston Celtics sign J.R. Smith?

Although LeBron James wants J.R. Smith on their line-up as they begin their championship journey once again this coming NBA season, Smith is still not officially signed with the Cavs. While Smith is still not on the official line-up for the Cavs, he is linked to various teams. One of the teams that is rumored to sign Smith is the Boston Celtics.

According to nydailynews.com, the Boston Celtics is interested to sign J.R. Smith to back-up Avery Bradley. The Celtics have approximately $9 million left to sign him. The Cavs offered Smith $10 million this year, which he turned down. If the Celtics want to sign Smith, they need to offer him in $15 million range.

J.R. Smith is still not officially signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers yet. He will be involved in a lot of rumors. But there's a great chance that he will still be in a Cavs' uniform this season. Especially if LeBron James wants him on the team.

"Negotiations are always two-sides but J.R. did his part," James said. "He showed up every day. Worked his ass off every day. Became a two-way player, a model citizen in Cleveland and he's a fan favorite, obviously we all know that. All of the sudden now he's a season ticket holder at the Indians games.", percleveland.com.

It is very clear that LeBron James and J.R. Smith are very good friends. And according to The Christian Post, James said that he is hopeful that the Cavs will sign Smith because he's been an integral part for the team.
