Selena Gomez Rehab Rumors: Did ‘Slow Down’ Singer Attend 12-Step Meeting with Demi Lovato?

Selena Gomez reportedly attended a 12-step meeting with her pal Demi Lovato, The National Enquirer (via CelebDirtyLaundry) reports. According to the Enquirer, Gomez was spotted attending a meeting at the beginning of December at the West Hollywood Recovery Center.

Gomez and Lovato have been close friends since they were younger. In the past Lovato has said that the "Stars Dance" singer helped her overcome her addictions but the report alleges that Gomez wasn't attending to show Lovato support but was going to seek help for herself.

Recently there have been several rumors that Gomez has been doing quite a bit of partying. A source told the Enquirer that the singer has been spotted on several occasions mixing her bottled water with the drug Molly.

Rehab rumors have swirled around Gomez before when she suddenly announced that she was canceling the Australian leg of her first world tour. She said she needed to take some "me time" but many speculated that she would be entering rehab soon.

"My fans are so important to me and I would never disappoint them," she said. "But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be."

Back in 2010, Lovato pulled a similar stunt. After announcing that she was cancelling the rest of her tour appearances for "Camp Rock 2" she entered a treatment facility for a number of issues. At the time, Lovato also disappeared from social media, something that Gomez has not done.

Speculation about rehab rumors started up again on Dec. 23 when Gomez got into a car accident. According to a report by CelebdirtyLaundry, she was photographed in Los Angeles driving erratically before crashing her car into a pole. Some photos showed the singer walking away from the wreckage covering her face in shame.

She once again shocked her fans at the Jingle Ball concert when she dropped the F-bomb and stormed off stage when her microphone stopped working.
