Katy Perry has dropped hints about wanting to be a mother. The pop star also talked about what the future might be for her and Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom. She also mentioned that children are becoming a focus on her life now.
During the Once Upon A Time Gala for Children's Hospital Los Angeles, E! News has caught up with the 'Dark Horse' singer where she shared her desires to have children. The singer said, "I see the amazing thing of birth and children and the vulnerability and we just have to take care of them and how, how big of an impression we have. We have such a responsibility!"
According to a source, the pop star recollected her passion for giving music therapy programs to children that were sick and how she helped deliver her sister's second child. "Children to me are becoming a big focus. I don't even have mine but I see it in my sister's kids and just how much nurturing and love they need," the chart topper added.
The singer-songwriter and the actor were first speculated to be dating when they were spotted getting close to each other at The Weinstein Company in January and the 2016 Golden Globes after-party. According to International Business Times, the couple were also seen kissing at the Coachella Music Festival in California last April.
Previously, an insider claimed that the 31-year old pop singer would be ready to have children if she found the man she's ready to settle down with. It would seem that Bloom, 39, could be that man, since parenting to his five-year old son, Flynn, with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr, has taught him a lot about family and parenthood.
Of course, no one really knows what the future might be for the couple but fans will surely be excited if they end up together soon. Perry also stated that she believes her second shot at love is in the future, since her divorce from comedian Russell Brand in 2011.
