It seems like some users are less thrilled anymore with the new operating system from Google, the Android 7.0 Nougat. Because they are more interested in the upcoming upgrade which is the Android 7.1 Nougat. But not all Android-based devices will get this first-hand unlike the Nexus device users.

It is known by everyone that the Nexus devices which can now be called as Pixel and the Android operating systems are already acquired and owned by Google. So automatically, when Google launches a new and improved Android OS, the Pixel and Nexus devices usually get the upgrade first. But for the Android-based devices from different manufacturers, they have to wait until the time they would also get the upgrade. This is due to some fixes that have to be done to the operating system.

It's not only that because it will also roll out to the latest Pixel devices like the Google Pixel XL and the Google Pixel.

For the Nexus 6, Nexus 9, and Nexus Player, they will be able to get the Android 7.1 Nougat OTA Update sometime in December. Google did not specify any date for this upgrade on these devices.
