Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie shocked the world when the "Maleficent" actress filed for a divorce from her husband. However, recent reports reveal that the "World War Z" actor is no no hurry to finalize the paperwork.
According to E! Online, Pitt has not yet sent a legal response to the paperwork that Jolie submitted initially when their divorce news broke out. Legal expert Troy Slaten told the publication that the paperwork may not be necessary at all.
Slaten said that these things take time and go slowly over a period of time. The attorneys from both the sides must be communicating with each other in this regard and there is hardly anything that Pitt may have to file for himself, until he wants to take depositions or something of that sought.
The legal expert further revealed that people file when they want to argue or fight over something and greater the filing, the more are the chances of fight. Minimal filing indicates that the matter can be resolved outside the court, only if the couple remain calm and chalk out things peacefully.
In Pitt and Jolie's divorce case, they may determine the custody of their children outside the court. In this was, the entire matter and the conditions of the settlement will remain private, as nothing needs to be discussed in front of a judge.
As of now, Jolie has the custody of all her six children while Pitt has the visitation rights. The actor has already visited his kids twice under the temporary custody agreement.
However, Pitt's disinterest in responding to Jolie's divorce filing may indicate something different altogether. The couple may be reconsidering their decision to get divorced, primarily because of the future of their children.
Parent Herald reports that the couple may be considering reconciliation because Pitt is under severe depression and misses his children very much. Reportedly, the entire family is attending counseling sessions to make this phase easier for everyone.
