Apple's 2016 MacBook Pro is just two days away from the event that will finally unveil it improved looks, performance and design. However, some of the features of this long-awaited device have been leaked ahead of the event.

Reputed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently prepares and issued a new report about Apple's 2016 MacBook Pro features to its investors. The report, obtained by MacRumors, teases some of the excellent features that the upcoming device is expected to possess.

In addition to a list of upgraded features, Apple's new 2016 MacBook Pro is expected to feature an OLED display panel, which will be located on the top of the keyboard. The device also features a larger trackpad than before and a built-in Touch ID.

Major changes in the 2016 MacBook Pro keyboard are also expected. The new keyboard will be much more reliable and shallower than the previous versions.

Only this much was known about the upcoming 2016 MacBook Pro before the report released by Kuo surface online. According to Kuo's report, the upcoming device would be based on Intel's (US) Skylake processor.

In addition, the device will have the same resolution, however the overall display quality and energy efficiency will be much better than before. This has been made possible by the use of an oxide panel.

2016 MacBook Pro is also expected to run on a processor similar to the one used in Apple Watch. This processor would handle the new OLED touch bar in an energy efficient manner. In addition, the new MacBook models are expected to come with an option of 2TB SSD storage capacity, which was a completely unknown feature before.

The upcoming device would also sport a MagSafe-like USB-C adapter, according to BGR. However, the inclusion of this feature is subjected to change as per the positive reviews for the new charging design.
