Android 7.0 Nougat is out and some of the smartphone users are using it. In the latest version of Android there are not many changes. But one of the big criticisms for the Android has always been that the some of the basic details are missing in the Google's latest Android Nougat, users are getting confuse on how to see the battery percentage.
This is common tweak from the likes of HTC, Sony, and Samsung etc. that means you can see the battery level at a glance, rather than just as a tiny icon on the home screen. On the previous Android you normally have to swipe down the slider to get the fuller picture of battery and other things.
The option lives in something called the System UI Tuner, which is a hidden developer feature that needs to be enabled. The Google has hidden this as the features are still not final, and there's the declaration that some of the features might be removed in future Android updates, as Hunt News Noted.
Also it tells you the battery percentage. It also shows the estimate of how much long the battery is going to last. There is also a Battery Saver switch in this pop-up that will limits background data, location services for CPU to make the battery last longer, reports Trusted Reviews.
Here are the 3 easy steps to get the battery percentage to display on stock Android:
1. Firstly enable the System UI Tuner. For this, swipe down the Quick Settings panel and you'll see the settings gear icon at the top of the display. Press and hold that for a few seconds.
2. After which the System UI Tuner will be enabled and will appear at the bottom of the settings menu. After this a spanner icon will appear next to your settings shortcut icon and then you will get an onscreen notification.
3. Then Open the System UI Tuner menu and tap "status bar" aftet that at the bottom you'll see the option called "battery" with a number of choices. Select "always show percentage".
You also have to note that when you're in battery saving mode, the percentage gets wiped out by the "+" symbol that battery saver uses, which is not much useful.
