Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Divorce Update: Jolie’s 4-hour FBI Interview Reveal Dark Details About the Plane Incident; Pitt’s Child Abuse Investigation Extended to Other Children

According to recent report by Us Weekly, new set of details have emerged after Angelina Jolie and their kids gave FBI a detailed 4-hour interview about the incident on plane that led to the couple's divorce. On September 14, aboard the couple's private jet, Brad Pitt got drunk and physically abused one of the kids.

An insider source revealed that the FBI agents wanted every inch of detail from that day, including when the plane took off and landed. The insider added that the investigating officers are looking at assault charges and Jolie, who suffered that harrowing flight with her 52-year-old actor-husband, cooperated fully.

Initially, when the investigation began, it was focused on a specific incident involving couple's oldest child Maddox. However, now it will be expanded to focus on all the children. Insiders report that the extended investigation is a result of new allegations accusing actor of multiple cases of abuse. The source also added that the estranged couple's children were always afraid around their father.

Reports also indicate that FBI is not the only department that is probing the case. In fact, Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services has also started digging into the abuse charges, reveals an insider. While the investigation seems to have taken a new turn, Pitt strongly denies any misconduct. Due to ongoing scrutiny, DCFS has extended the physical custody of the couple's six children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - to Jolie for indefinite period.

Following the ruling, the temporary parenting plan will stay, that was to expire on October 20. Pitt, on the other hand, will have visitation rights. Meanwhile, Pitt has decided to delay responding to Jolie's divorce petition until they reach a permanent agreement. Pitt want to have joint physical custody, while Jolie wants to him to have the visitation rights only.

FBI has also investigated potential witnesses of the incident, including the crew on-board that flight between Nice, France and Burbank, California. Once the investigation is over, the findings will be presented to a prosecutor for evaluation which will lead to final decision on whether or not there will charges against Brad. This whole process can take months to conclude.
