Some CAD renders of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) revealed the some design changes for the upcoming Galaxy A5 (2017). The latest Model from the South Korean tech giant might release in the early December this year.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) was released in December of 2015 and within a couple of months or so, tech users might see its successor to get unveiled soon. It is confirmed with the rendered video that Samsung is working on the Galaxy A5 (2017), which has been spotted in a benchmark in the August this year. The device has got Wi-Fi certified earlier this month.
The latest Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has taken several design cues from the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy S7 as it is rumoured to be coming up with the rounded edges on the back and also a premium form factor.
Rumours suggest that it can have a 5.2-inch display with thSamsung's Exynos 7880 processor, which has a CPU with four Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 1.87 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 1.3 GHz. Now the GPU will be Mali-T860MP4.
The latest device could also have the dimensions of 145 x 71 x 7.8 mm, that will make it half a millimetre thicker than its predecessor, then also hopefully Samsung will be able to fit a bigger battery inside.
Galaxy A5 (2017) will be having 3GB RAM, with 16GB internal storage and a a 3,000mAh battery. The device will be coming in two models single-SIM and dual-SIM. You have to note that the Galaxy A5 (2017) will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
As the renders images show, the device will come with the 'glass sandwich' construction that was seen in Samsung's last few flagships. This means the back panel is made out of glass as well as the front, the metal frame exist between both the glasses.
The speaker is seems to be on the right side, above the power button, which is a freshness in terms of design. The 3.5mm headset jack is present thankfully. Also, the camera will be completely flush on the back of this A5.
The new Galaxy A5 (2017) should launch sometime around December 2016, if past A5 launches are anything to go by.
However, there's no official word from the Samsung about the existence of the handset. But they might update on this soon.
The renders show that the phone will be coming with a side-mounted speaker and USB Type-C ports.
