Derick Dillard, husband of "Counting On" star Jill Duggar, finally reveals why his vote will go to Donald Trump this election season.
The "19 Kids and Counting" and "Counting On" reality show star recently left the followers baffled when he announced his support for Trump on Twitter without any further explanation.
Dailymail reported that Dillard finally broke his silence and tweeted recently, "Voting for Trump doesn't = condoning his lifestyle. It just means agreeing with more of his policies than Clinton's."
One of Dillard's earlier tweets about the Vice Presidential debate was hastagged as #chooselife, revealing that he is against abortion in general, same as Trump. It is being speculated that anti-abortion policy could very well be one of main reasons behind his voting preference.
Along with her husband, Jill Duggar also agrees on anti abortion point of view, as stated in her book, "Growing up Duggar." It was was published in 2014 and was co-released by Jill and her three sisters, Jana, Jessa and Jinger.
Trump is currently all over the news following his derogatory remarks about women and is being slammed by sexual harassment allegations.
It is to be noted that Jill Duggar had been a sexual abuse victim herself when she was younger. It came into light that she, along with three of her sisters, was molested by their brother Josh Duggar. However, Josh was later forgiven by his sisters, as stated by People Magazine in an interview with Duggar family.
Whether Jill Duggar will follow her husband Derick Dillard's footsteps during elections is not clear yet. But it is likely that she may vote for Trump, too. Few of the Duggar fans have supported their decisions on Twitter while many others are in shock and disappointed by these revelations and are finding it hard to agree with this announcement.
