Lenovo Phab 2 Pro: Google’s first Tango Phone to go on sale this month

Good news for Tech Savvy fans! Google, one of the most popular search engines in the world, has announced the first Android phone using its Project Tango. Lenovo Phab2 Pro will hit the market this November.

With its four depths and motion sensing cameras baked at the back of its handset, the device has 3D mapping skills that enable users to enjoy unique augmented reality experiences. Applications can interact with the real 3D world that brings virtual objects into your world.

Phab 2 Pro arrives two years after Google revealed its first prototype from the Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) team will be the first ever commercially available smartphone that will come with the Project Tango support. The 6.4-inch QHD display Tango phone features three rear cameras that include 16-megapixel main shooter between a fingerprint scanner below, a quad-HD 1440p screen resolution, and a Snapdragon 652 processor with a 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and a 4,050 mAh battery.

Not only that. It also has an eight-megapixel sensor front-facing camera. According to TechTimes, AR gaming allows the Phab 2 Pro to turn your world into an exciting virtual playground that provides excitement and pleasure.

The "Dinosaurs Among Us" app from the American National History Museum enable users to interact with dinosaurs and view them in real size as if they are real within an AR environment.

According to Justin Quimby, senior Tango product manager, the Tango apps can be installed via the Tango app or Google Play. Mr. Quimby also said that Google sees potential for the Tango design as an excellent platform for all phones in the future and more Tango-enabled phones will join Phab 2 Pro in 2017.
