Beyoncé and Jay Z celebrated their daughter Blue Ivy's 2nd birthday on Jan. 7 by renting out an entire jungle. Yup, you read that right. The couple wanted to make sure their little princess had the best day ever and rented out Jungle Island in Miami, TMZ reports.
For the entire day, the couple along with family and friends got to quietly look at all the wildlife and botanical gardens. According to E! News the group dined at Joey's Italian Café, a local pizza place afterwards.
It seems like Blue had a quite an eventful birthday. There were rumors that the baby girl also got a horse, worth $75,000 as a birthday gift.
"Blue loves animals and expressed interest in having a horse... so they bought her one," a source told MediaTakeout.com.
Last year when she turned a year-old the couple spent a reported $200,000 for a birthday celebration. According to The Sun, Blue received a ton of gifts including a diamond-encrusted Barbie doll worth $80,000. The doll is said to have more than 100 diamond stones as well as gold and white jewelry.
The "XO" singer also spent a reported $95,000 for pink and white roses for the party, $2,400 for the birthday cake and $30,000 for party favors for the guests which included jewelry, playhouses, princess costumes and toys for the kids and concert tickets for the adults.
"Nothing's been too big or expensive for their little princess," a source told The Sun. "They wanted her first birthday to set the tone for the rest of her life. They work had for their money and the first thing they want to spend it on is their baby girl."
