U.S Election 2016: Hillary Clinton won't concede amid Trump’s victory

Hillary Clinton's party won't admit defeat on election night. Clinton's chief John Podesta released a statement that their party refused to concede election despite the terrible results in the campaign. With pollsters showing that Donald Trump will certainly win, Podesta argued that there were still lots of votes left to count and that the Democrat has still a chance to win the election.

According to the Election Day live results, Donald Trump is already on the verge of winning, but Mr. Podesta still has his hopes that the Hillary Clinton will win in this year's election. Mr. Podesta said that Hillary Clinton would not appear on election night. Instead, the Democrat will return to speak to supporters in the morning after the election.

On the other hand, Donald Trump has been criticized for not confirming that he would concede the election if he lost it.

The day before the Election

A day before the election, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton cut different paths across the country for their final full day campaign for the 2016 election. Mrs. Clinton appeared in Michigan where the state dense with working-class voters is residing.

Donald Trump was scheduled to visit four states such as North Carolina, Florida, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania for the last day of the campaign.

Dueling Speeches between Clinton and Trump

In the early campaign events on Monday, Clinton and Trump had delivered speeches to swing the state voters while leveling some final attacks to each other. During the rally in Pittsburgh, Hillary Clinton decried Mr. Trump's negative and hateful presidential campaign and assured the people of the United States of American that she is prepared to unite the country.

Election's Result

Donald Trump won the election with 276 electoral votes against Clinton who garnered 218 votes only. Hillary Clinton gave her concession speech later on Wednesday. White House spokesperson said that President Obama called Donald Trump after his victory and invited him to the White House to discuss the transition of power.
