The Chinese manufacturing company HTC is on the verge of rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update to HTC 10. The current flagship smartphone offered by HTC is gradually bolstering up its current technological status by giving its users the latest apparatus for a satisfactory experience.
The European HTC 10 models may commence gearing up to get Google's latest software Android 7.0 Nougat before the end of this year. The news has been reported by @LlabTooFeR, who has a history of rendering tactful insight regarding HTC.
The developer established on Twitter this Monday that HTC's 2016 flash ship may receive the upgraded software by the end of November or the start of December this year.
Although the rumors are rife, the news itself was not publicly endorsed by the manufacturing giant itself. HTC has been very open about its updates and advancements, but there has been no official announcement as to when HTC will roll out Android 7.9 Nougat update for HTC 10.
US carrier T-Mobile also maintained that Android 7.0 Nougat will be available for HTC 10 and HTC One M9, but the exact time period is still under a question mark.
Early predictions hinted that HTC might kick off updating its devices to Android 7.0 Nougat update in October, but none of its devices have received the update yet.
LlabTooFeR highlights that HTC's 2015 flagship devices such as HTC One M9 would start updating to Android 7.0 Nougat around December or January. However, the same rumors for HTC 10 and HTC One M9 remain unaddressed.
Devices that have been sold unlocked will be the first ones to take advantage of the new Android 7.0 Nougat update. This information is only limited to Europe and therefore, the availability of Android 7.0 for HTC 10 users in other territories is still unknown.
In a nutshell, for those with an unlocked set won't have to wait too long to get the latest Android software.
HTC recently announced that its Sprint exclusive HTC Bolt smartphone, which has the honor to be called as manufacturer's first branded device, has allowed its users to have the Android 7.0 Nougat Update.
There are also rumors that HTC's 10 successor HTC 11 will be the first flagship device to run Android 7.0 Nougat. For the time being, its features include Quad HD dual-curved display, a 4,000mAh battery, a 12-megapixel main camera and USB-Type C.
