In this week's episode of "The Walking Dead," we are going to get a first glimpse at life in Alexandria now that everyone is under Negan's rule. And as we've all been anticipating, everything will turn out to be completely awful.
Negan ransacks Alexandria
Everyone was understandably shell-shocked when we managed to catch up with them, which is also just in time for Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) to arrive earlier than expected, accompanied by 50 of his favorite Saviors to ransack Alexandria and take everything Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the gang had left.
By this, we actually do mean everything, literally: from furniture, mattresses, to every single gun in the armory, as well as a video camera with Grizzly Adams Rick talking about killing people. Curiously, though, he left all of their food. Fans guessed they might have had a lot of food in their storage, or they just completely forgot about it.
Things are not looking good
In the end, though, Rosita (Christian Serratos) still managed to hold on to the empty-loaded gun she found on a walker while out retrieving Darryl's (Norman Reedus) bike for Dwight (Austin Amelio) with Spencer (Austin Nichols).
She then showed up at Eugene's (Josh McDermitt) place in the final minutes holding the empty shell that Negan left behind after shooting out a window for no reason. Make me a bullet, she demanded. Fans are already expecting that this will not end well.
The Episode gave us little to nothing
While the episode did not give us anything besides reminder yet again that Negan is a cruel, horrible, good for the nothing bad guy who feels the most realistic of all the characters to leap from the original source material to the TV show, there were a few interesting developments that occurred.
When Negan made his request over Maggie's (Lauren Cohan) location, Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) proved that he isn't all that useless after all after some very quick thinking that convinced the villain that she died as well. More to come as The Walking Dead progresses.
