Just like NVIDIA, AMD is also working on its upcoming Radeon RX 490. The rumored Graphics Processing Unit is reportedly to come with Polaris 10 that can support 4K gaming which the tech hardcore gamers and enthusiasts will definitely like.
According to WCCFTech, the same GPU has been used as a promotional unit in 2016 for fhe semiconductor company in Sunnyvale. And the AMD Radeon RX 490 was also seen on official websites of AMD and Sapphire with the discounted motherboard manufacturer certified by AMD.
According to previous reports, AMD Radeon RX 490 will be featuring the second-generation high bandwidth memory, which will have RAM of 8,196 MB of storage capacity. The high end Graphic card is also expected to feature a 1,200 MHz base clock and a 350 MHz memory clock.
For the reference, the RX device is always powered by a processing power of more than 1.5TFLOPs that will create the ability to accelerate up to 60 frames per second at 1080p in popular titles like "DOTA 2" and "LOL."
The AMD Radeon Rx 490 is also expected to sport a TDP of 150W and the Polaris 10 chip that will run on its own rate of 110W TDP. If the specs will be proven to be true then it will be more powerful than both the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 and Titan X.
In the Rx 490 the processing unit was also part of the leaked 400 series of graphics cards. It is also speculated that this card has been created to support 4K gaming to the fullest. Although, it is still not confirmed whether AMD Radeon RX 490 will have the Polaris 10 specs or the next-gen Vega 10 specs in it.
At present it is not clear about AMD's plans for Radeon RX 490. According to rumors, it is said that the upcoming Graphics Card might get either a December release date this year or it will be releasing early 2017 launch. That depends upon the GPU card will be using.
