The smartphone industry is setting a 5.5" display as a standard for every upcoming phone. It is rumoured that HTC 11 will sport 5.5-inch screen with taking a leap ahead of HTC 10's display.
The world is moving with the VR and AR. With Android 7.1 and Google's daydream VR, we can expect some cool features in upcoming flagship HTC 11, which will probably launch with Android Nougat.
However there is no official announcement is made and we expect a mid-2017 launch of HTC 11. But a recent batch of leaked videos and images given hint that the HTC 11 will feature a dual-edge display with a waterproof build
According to University Herald, next flagship of HTC will be launch through the Chinese social media site Weibo and it will come up with a 5.5- inch screen that is capable of producing Quad HD of display resolution that would be specifically 2560 x 1440 pixels.
HTC 11 also expected to have a battery that will be slightly higher than HTC 10. So, if HTC 10 has a 3,000mAh battery then there is possibility to have 4,000mAh battery for HTC 11.
Reports state that this HTC 11 flagship will use the Snapdragon 821 or either the Snapdragon 830, either of these two processors comes readily accessible before its release date in 2017. The smartphone might come in 4GB or 6GB RAM.
HTC 11 will have a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front facing camera. Though the HTC 10 also came with a 12MP we can expect HTC 11 to have improved sensors along with other upgrades, reports Phone Radar.
HTC 11 will be coming with a USB Type-C port and fingerprint sensor. The latest flagship is said to have Android 7.0 supports virtual reality and even HTC is poised to be VR enabled handset, it may be compatible with the HTC Viva VR headset. The HTC 10 has IP53 certification that meansthe mobile phone is not entirely dust or water proof.
Rivals of the HTC 10, such as the Galaxy S7, iPhone 7 and more are water- and dust-proof so customers will want HTC to bring the upcoming HTC 11 with other top-end devices when it comes to water and dust resistance. Some rumors say that the HTC 11 could be IP67-certified, making it dust and waterproof.
For release it is not yet confirmed the HTC 11 to make its first ever appearance, but Yibada says that it can be unveiled on Mobile World Congress on February 27 2017. It can have the price tag of $750.
