NBA trade rumors are swirling around again to New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony nowadays. This time around he is being tipped to join his good buddy Dwayne Wade to the Chicago Bulls and said to be forming the dynamic duo like Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen have done for the franchise.
Melo, who has been hitting the rumor mills as of late, was being linked to being traded to Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics just a couple of days ago but up to this moment the rumored deal is still not progressing and seems to be just fading away.
Last October, YIBADA English earlier reported that the Bulls seems to be interested in acquiring Melo from the Knicks and build the tandem with buddy D-Wade. Trade scenario is saying that Knicks will give up Anthony to the Bulls in exchange for Jimmy Butler and Doug McDermott.
However, the Bulls appears to be not ready to give up Butler and break the good combination that they have right now. With that being said, the deal just got call off and looks to be going down the drain until new reports are emerging again that the Bulls is offering new players to the Knicks.
The new proposed deal is saying that the New York Knicks will release Carmelo Anthony plus a second-round draft pick to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott, Michael Carter-Williams plus two future draft picks. Though some say that the trade is too much for Melo but what offer to the 9-time NBA All-Star player can the Bulls put forward to acquire him?
The report also says that it is a matter of time that Melo will leave the Knicks after recent struggles of the team. But with Melo holding the no-trade clause in his contract, Knicks president Phil Jackson doesn't want to see Anthony go and leave them with nothing. And it seems that the Knicks might consider to trade him and take the deal with the Bulls.
However, the new NBA trade deal is still a rumor and everything should be taken with a grain of salt as of this moment.
