Golden Globes 2014 Complete Winners List: ’12 Years a Slave,’ ‘Breaking Bad’ Among Top Honors

The hottest stars in Hollywood arrived in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Sunday, Jan. 12 for the 71st Golden Globe Awards. Comediennes Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the awards show which honored the best in TV and film.

Shows like "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Breaking Bad" each took home two awards and actor Leonardo DiCaprio took home a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Jordan Belfort in "Wolf of Wall Street."

"12 Years a Slave" had seven nominations but took home only one - and arguably the most coveted - Golden Globe at the end of the night. The film is based on a 1853 memoir by Solomon Northup, a free black man who is sold into slavery. The movie received the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture, Drama for 2013.

"Little bit in shock," the film's director, Steve McQueen said as he held the award. "I wasn't expecting this."
