Netflix's science-fiction horror web television series, Stranger Things had finished airing its eight episodes for the first season and fans of the show can't wait to find out what's going to happen next when the series returns next year.
Speculations about the possible events that can occur in the next season are rapidly surfacing online. According to a report from Jobs n Hire, the return of actress Millie Bobby Brown, who portrays the character, Eleven, also known as El, is one of the most-anticipated highlights of the upcoming season.
It can be recalled that on the final episode of season 1, El had vanished with the monster that attacked her and her friends at the middle school where they were hiding. Because of this, viewers and fans have been wondering on whether she returns or not on the upcoming season.
But now, according to tehe source, the leaked plot have suggested that Brown will indeed return. There was even a report claiming that she will probably be returning on another form, but further details were not yet revealed, as well as the details on whether she will be on the season as a guest or as a regular cast.
A report from The Hollywood Reporter also revealed that the viewers will expect additional casts and characters on the upcoming season. Actor Dacre Montgomery and actress Sadie Sink will reportedly portray the roles of Max and Billy, respectively, who are siblings in the series.
Actor and comedian Brett Gelman will also join the series as Murray Bauman, a former journalist that became a conspiracy theorist, who visits Hawkins to go after a cold case. Actors Paul Reiser and Sean Astin are also introduced in season two. Reiser will portray the character, Bob Newby, while Astin will be Department of Energy executive, Owens.
It has been rumored that the second season of Stranger Things will air twelve months after the release of the finale episode for the previous season. So viewers will expect the series to premiere on Netflix on July 2017.
