Pop star Selena Gomez had her most-awaited comeback since her rehab stint during the 2016 American Music Awards to the joy of her loyal fans. She accepted an award and gave an inspirational message to all her supporters.
The "Hands to Myself" star also took the social media to express her grateful feeling about being back and still seeing her fans by her side.
In an interview with Thrive Global, Gomez opened up about the struggles and experiences during her 3-month rehab stay. She revealed she cut off cell phone usage, e-mail and any kind of electronic communication for 90 days.
The singer said that doing such had made her feel something she had never felt before. She shared that taking time off away from her phone was the most refreshing, calming and rejuvenating feeling she ever had.
She added that even this time that she is back, she rarely uses her phone which would mean that only a few people have access to her.
Elite Daily had reported that Gomez's rehab stay, and the whole process she went with, has been working out for her because the singer mentioned that she's been feeling alright now and that the last time she felt 'burned out' was three months ago, before checking herself to rehab.
It can be recalled that the singer decided to check herself to rehab in August after cancelling the rest of her Revival Tour due to depression and anxiety issues.
It can also be well remembered that her former boyfriend, whom fans believe she was still attached that time, Justin Bieber played a big role on Gomez's decision to undergo treatment.
However, because of the recent interview with Gomez opening up about her rehab experiences, fans are now doubting if Bieber really went to visit the singer for reconciliation.
It has been on the reports that the "Sorry" singer wanted to rekindle romance with former girlfriend and there were even rumors that claimed a wedding has been planned.
However, with Gomez revealing that she took those rehab days away from cell phone, the Bieber visitations raised questions.
Gossip Cop had reported that the wedding speculations and any secret marriage involving the former couple are completely false. The source claimed that those were just tales invented by their shippers who still believe they could get back together.
