Pokémon Go News: 1.19.1 & 0.49.1 Update to improve gaming experience from Dec. 12; More holiday surprises teased

Pokémon Go update will be around soon with new version 1.19.1 for iOS and 0.49.1 for Android. Devices running on both the major operating systems will have an improvised gaming experience in a few days ahead.

Reportedly, these versions will bring minor changes, which were requested by the Pokémon fans back in July. Pokémon gamers can now transfer every single Pokémon to Professor Willow at the time.

Earlier, gamers had to transfer every single Pokémon individually causing a hassle to them. However, now the gamers have to transfer Professor Willow more than one Pokémon at a time, you just need to press and hold down on a Pokémon.

Other updates include the Pokémon type icons are added to the gym battle screen, the total amount of candy collected with a buddy Pokémon added to the buddy's screen, the screen also displays the total number of kilometers buddy has walked.

According to The Silph Road, a Pokémon Go online community talks about Niantic's upcoming moves which include Pokémon genders, costume related holiday event, shiny Pokémon and avatar customization. Although Niantic has not officially disclosed details but fans can expect a surprise soon.

Per Niantic's official notes, the two updated versions will include:

  • Trainers will be able to transfer multiple Pokémon at a time to Professor Willow. To use this function, press and hold on a Pokémon.
  • Pokémon type icons have been added to the Gym battle approach and Gym battle screen.
  • The total Candy count for your Buddy Pokémon has been added to the buddy information screen.
  • The total kilometers a buddy has walked has been added to the information screen of each Pokémon that has ever been your buddy.
