The Milwaukee Bucks are not playing eyeing Nikola Vucevic if the latest NBA trade rumors are to be believed.
The team was not performing very well in court over the past few years in the NBA. They only manage to make the playoffs only once in the last three years and during those times, they have a combined record of 89-157 win-loss record.
This season, it looks like they will finally make the playoffs. With an 11-9 win-loss record, they are second in Central Division behind Cleveland Cavaliers and fifth in the Eastern Conference. They are one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now as they won 5 of their last 6 games.
In the offseason, Giannis Antetokounmpo signed a lucrative deal with the Bucks worth four-year, $100 million contract extension, as per Yahoo Sports. And he is having a breakout season so far. In 20 games with the Bucks this season, he is averaging 22.0 points, 8.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 2.3 blocks and 2.2 steals. He might be a first-time All-Star this season.
The Bucks might be heading to the playoffs this season. But for them to have a better playoff run, they need some additional low post presence that could score the basketball under the rim.
And according to Inquisitr, a rumored NBA trade might take place that would send Nikola Vucevic to Milwaukee Bucks. And in exchange, the Orlando Magic will receive Khris Middleton.
Nikola Vucevic is a good scorer from the paint who has good low post moves. He was a starter for the Magic last season. But with the addition of Serge Ibaka and Bismack Biyombo, he is now coming off the bench. The Bucks will have a quality starter if they could get Vucevic. By getting Vucevic, there is a chance that they might end up in top 3 or 4 in the Eastern Conference.
Khris Middleton, on the other hand, is a good scorer. He is averaging a career-high 18.2 points with the Bucks last season. The Orlando Magic is full of defensive players but lack offensive players who could score the basketball when needed.
Middleton is injured now. But once he comes back, Middleton might be a great help on the offensive end for the Magic who relied mostly on their defense to win games.
